TacariguaNigel Foster (49) Stabbed to Death During Bar Lime

Huggins Street, near corner of Deosaran Street (Tip C Bar / Lance Bar area), Tacarigua, Tunapuna - Piarco

Nigel Foster, 49, of Thavenot Street, Tacarigua, was fatally stabbed during a confrontation near Lance Bar on Huggins Street on Sunday, May 24, 2026 around 6:40 p.m. Foster became involved in an altercation with 49-year-old Darryl Harding of Nayaik Street, Tacarigua; the confrontation escalated into a physical fight during which Harding allegedly stabbed Foster once to the upper left leg. Despite his wound, Foster ran south along Huggins Street before collapsing near the corner of Deosaran Street and Huggins Street. When officers and Emergency Health Services personnel arrived, Foster was found motionless on his back on the roadway; the District Medical Officer confirmed there were no signs of life and ordered removal of the body. Hours after the killing, around 8:30 p.m., Harding walked into the St. Joseph Police Station and surrendered himself to officers.
