Woman, 75, kicked in the back, robbed

Thomasine Street, Success Village, Laventille, Port of Spain

A 75-year-old woman of Thomasine Street, Success Village, Laventille, was attacked and robbed while walking along the street on Monday morning around 10 a.m. An unknown male assailant approached her from behind and kicked her in the back, causing her to fall to the ground. The attacker then stole a smartwatch with a blue band valued at $350 before fleeing the scene. The victim sustained injuries from the assault. Police are investigating the incident and searching for the suspect.
