A 45-year-old man, identified as Dexter Marshall of Barrow Avenue, River Road Extension, was found stabbed to death in a grassy area off River Road, Bourg Mulatresse, Lower Santa Cruz. Police responded around 8:35 a.m. on Thursday morning to a report of a motionless body bearing marks of violence. The deceased was discovered approximately 240 feet from the roadway by an informant during checks made at the residence. Several apparent stab wounds were observed on his body, and police recovered a cutlass at the scene. Enquiries revealed that Marshall was last seen alive at his home around 2 p.m. on Wednesday, with his body discovered the following morning.
