A 59-year-old man was stabbed multiple times by a suspect armed with a knife early on January 25 at approximately 3:30 AM in Rio Claro. The male occupant had gone outside after hearing someone calling and encountered a man known to him who attacked him with the knife. A 37-year-old woman who was also in the home fled out the front door as the suspect allegedly set the house ablaze. The Rio Claro Fire Station responded to the scene, but the structure was completely destroyed. Police are investigating the incident and searching for the suspect.
