AroucaHomemade Shotgun Recovered in North Central Division Police Operation

Hillcrest Crescent, Windy Hill, Arouca, Tunapuna - Piarco

A homemade shotgun was recovered from a bushy area off Hillcrest Crescent, Windy Hill, Arouca during a roving police exercise conducted by the North Central Division on Tuesday, August 5, 2025. The operation took place between 7:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. and was initiated by ACP Singh, Senior Superintendent Pierre, and Superintendent Gift, coordinated by ASP Bharath and Inspector Pierre. Officers received information about a firearm hidden in the location and conducted a search, discovering the long homemade shotgun lying on the southern side of the area. No one was arrested in connection with the firearm recovery. The weapon has been seized as evidence.
