Man attacked with cutlass at home (41)

Building 13, Maloney, D'Abadie , Tunapuna - Piarco

A 41-year-old resident of Building 13, Maloney was attacked by three men he knew at his home late Sunday night, February 1, 2026, around 10:45 p.m. One of the attackers was armed with a cutlass. An exchange of words escalated into a physical struggle, during which the victim was chopped on the face and back. The victim managed to escape but was pursued by the suspects. Officers from the NDTF who were nearby responded quickly and transported the victim to the hospital, where he was treated and listed in stable condition.
