Pre-Christmas Burglary in Port of Spain: Thieves Target Pembroke Street Building for Renovation Supplies

Pembroke Street, Port of Spain

A burglary occurred at a residential building on Pembroke Street, Port of Spain, in the early hours of Tuesday, December 17, 2025. Around 7:45 a.m., a tenant discovered that storage rooms on the first and second floors had been ransacked. Further inspection revealed that an apartment had also been breached, with thieves stealing six gallons of Sherwin-Williams paint, lighting fixtures, vanity lights, and mirrors. Security footage showed two men removing the items. Investigators believe the suspects entered through a first-floor window before exiting via the ground-floor garage door.
