A 28-year-old lecturer from San Francique, Penal was robbed during an armed home invasion in the early hours of Tuesday, February 10, 2026, around 2:00 a.m. Four masked Hispanic males entered her bedroom while she was asleep, with one armed with a firearm and three carrying cutlasses. The suspect with the firearm pointed the weapon at the victim and announced the robbery. Fearing for her life, the victim complied as the men took a quantity of cash and jewellery from her home. The suspects fled the house through a northern door and escaped on foot through a nearby bushy area in the direction of Tulsa Trace after one shouted that police were outside. Police are investigating the incident.
