A 31-year-old delivery driver for West Indian Traders was robbed of $26,000 in cash at a mini mart on Hillview Drive, Thick Village, Siparia on Wednesday, April 22, 2026 around 1:10 p.m. The suspect approached the victim's vehicle, pointed a gun, and demanded cash while the driver was making a delivery. The victim handed over a black side bag containing approximately $26,000 in Trinidad and Tobago currency representing the day's sales. The suspect fled on foot along Siparia Old Road in the direction of Siparia. Police are investigating; no arrests have been made.
