Two student partygoers returned to their parked Hyundai Tucson in Carenage near the Military Museum around 8:30 a.m. on Monday after attending the Miami Beach party at O2Park, Chaguaramas. They discovered the left rear door glass of the vehicle had been smashed and valuables were missing from inside. The first victim, a woman, lost a brown Coach wristlet containing a 10-gram gold chain valued at $2,800 and $500 in cash, as well as a black Michael Kors purse containing a debit card and store card. The second victim, a man, discovered a pink Coach wristlet with $1,000 missing from the centre console. The theft occurred between approximately 4:48 a.m. when the vehicle was parked and 8:30 a.m. when the victims returned. Police are investigating the incident.
