Around 9:25 a.m., a 25-year-old woman boarded a silver Nissan Almera, registration PBP 771, at the Carenage taxi stand in Port of Spain. While traveling along the Western Main Road, the driver stopped the vehicle near Abbe Poujade and Raymond Street in Carenage. The driver forcibly grabbed the victim's backpack, which contained her cellular phone and cash, and conducted a physical search of her person. The suspect then pushed the victim out of the vehicle before driving away with her personal belongings.
