A 64-year-old school transport driver was beaten and robbed while waiting outside Holy Name Convent School on Clifton Hill on Thursday, March 5, 2026 at approximately 12:30 p.m. Two men, one armed with a gun, approached the victim and announced a robbery, demanding the keys to his white Nissan Almera (PBZ 991). Fearing for his life, the driver told the suspects the keys were inside the vehicle. The men then dragged him behind an abandoned house into a room, where they beat him and robbed him of $80 in cash before fleeing in an unknown direction. Police were notified and conducted searches for the suspects but were unsuccessful. The vehicle was not taken by the suspects.
