Man shot outside home after being lured outside (Brian Jagroo, 29)

Railway Road, Reform Village, Gasparillo, Couva - Tabaquite - Talparo

Brian Jagroo, 29, of Railway Road, Reform Village, Gasparillo, was shot outside his home on Thursday night, March 5, 2026, around 8:40 p.m. He was at home with his common-law wife and her son when a man known to them as 'Kirby' from Vistabella called him outside. Jagroo and the teenager went outside, where Jagroo asked the suspect who else was in a nearby vehicle. The man replied 'daiz Jep,' and shortly after, four loud explosions rang out. The teenager ran back inside and informed Jagroo's wife that Jagroo had been shot. The gunman entered a white Toyota Aqua, reportedly driven by a man called 'Jep,' which sped off from the scene. Jagroo was taken to San Fernando General Hospital where he received medical treatment.
