A man was slashed across the front of his neck during an argument with another man while sitting in a vehicle on Caroni North Bank Road, Mausica, around 10 p.m. on Wednesday, March 11. The victim fled the vehicle and ran to the entrance of the University of Trinidad and Tobago (UTT) campus, where he sought help. He was taken to Arima Health Facility and later transferred to the Eric Williams Medical Sciences Complex for further treatment. The suspect drove off with the victim's car. The vehicle was later discovered abandoned along the Churchill Roosevelt Highway, partially destroyed by fire.
