Man's throat slashed during late-night highway attack (Michael Baptiste)

Caroni North Bank Road, near UTT, Centeno , Couva - Tabaquite - Talparo

Michael Baptiste's throat was slashed during a late-night attack around 10 p.m. on March 11 along Caroni North Bank Road near UTT in Mausica. The victim had picked up Jael Akeem Lewis of Maloney, with whom he previously had a relationship; while driving, Baptiste allowed Lewis to take the wheel when he was allegedly attacked and slashed to the neck. The injured man escaped and ran to the UTT entrance for help.
