Man robbed of side bag containing cash and valuables at Woodford and Tragarete

A man was robbed on Sunday evening at the corner of Woodford Street and Tragarete Road, Port of Spain, near Shiann's Food Palace around 6:17 p.m. on March 15. The victim was waiting for a taxi when a man approached, grabbed his side bag, and a brief struggle ensued before the suspect fled with the bag. The stolen bag contained $2,250 in cash, house keys, two chargers, and a radio player. The suspect fled west along Tragarete Road and then north along Picton Street. Police are investigating.
