Three detained in larceny operation at Manzanilla housing development

Officers responded to a report of larceny in progress at a housing development along the Eastern Main Road, Manzanilla. A watchman reported that three men were removing items from the premises and fled into a bushy area. Police intercepted a vehicle along the Eastern Main Road with three male occupants. A search of the vehicle recovered armoured electrical cables, a panel box with breakers, a battery, a speaker box and tools, all suspected to be stolen. The three suspects remain in police custody as enquiries continue. No charges have been laid at this time.
