Female landlord kidnapped by Venezuelan tenant and accomplices (Tara Poliah, 73)

Don Miguel Road, San Juan, San Juan - Laventille

Tara Poliah, a 73-year-old San Juan woman, was kidnapped from her home on Don Miguel Road around 7:30 PM on Wednesday, March 25th, 2026. The victim was bundled into a white Nissan AD wagon (registration PEA 3592) by three male suspects, including a Venezuelan tenant known as 'Ray', before they fled the scene. CCTV footage captured the abduction. Police are investigating and have identified persons of interest.
