Masked gunman robs mini mart in Arima (female proprietor)

Tumpuna Road, L & L Mini Mart, Arima

A masked gunman entered L & L Mini Mart on Tumpuna Road, Arima around 3:40 p.m. on Monday, March 30, 2026, and announced a robbery to the female proprietor. The suspect, described as slim-built, approximately 5 feet 5 inches tall, wore a blue long-sleeve shirt, black pants, black Nike cap, and garden boots, with his face covered by a red jersey and red and black gloves. He was armed with a firearm. The gunman demanded a pack of cigarettes and ordered the victim to place all money into a plastic bag. He then fled the scene with approximately TT$1,000 in cash and one pack of Du Maurier cigarettes valued at $25. No arrests have been reported.
