Woman robbed of gold bracelet in daytime snatch on Frederick Street

Frederick Street near Prince Street, Port of Spain

A woman was walking south on Frederick Street near Prince Street at approximately 11:25 a.m. when a man of African descent, approximately six feet tall, bumped into her from behind and snatched a gold bracelet with a hook valued at TT$4,000 from her left hand. The suspect fled east along Prince Street. He was described as wearing a black jersey, pink and blue 3/4 pants, black slippers, and carrying a cream-and-pink strap bag. Police are investigating the incident.
