Ryan Morris, 37, also known as 'Dole', of Upper 8th Avenue, Barataria, was stabbed multiple times during an altercation outside a bar on 6th Avenue around 3:15 a.m. on Saturday. Morris succumbed to his injuries around 5:00 a.m. while undergoing emergency surgery. A fight broke out among a group of men gathered along the roadway, during which several individuals were attacked with broken bottles and stabbing weapons. Three other men were wounded: Mickail Charles sustained a stab wound to his left forearm (stable condition), and Matthew Chin and Dion Thomas (27) were both stabbed in the abdominal region and remain hospitalised.
