Man shot dead in vehicle at La Horquetta (Jamal Joseph, 37)

James Crescent, James Circular, La Horquetta, Carapo , Tunapuna - Piarco

Jamal Joseph, 37, of La Horquetta was shot and killed while driving his blue Toyota Aqua on James Circular in La Horquetta on Sunday, May 4th, 2025 at approximately 9:50 PM. Occupants of a grey Hyundai Tucson pulled alongside Joseph's vehicle and opened fire, striking him multiple times in the body before fleeing the scene. Passersby heard Joseph's alarm and rushed him to Arima Hospital, where he was pronounced dead on arrival. Police are investigating the circumstances and motive for the shooting. No arrests have been made at this time.
