A 42-year-old construction worker on Phillipine Road, San Fernando was attacked at his home around 11:00 p.m. on April 20th after a verbal dispute with three security officers at Bal's Bar earlier that evening. The suspects allegedly threw objects at the property, damaging a window and sheet of ply valued at $1,025, before entering the home and engaging the victim in a physical scuffle. During the confrontation, one suspect, Naresh Joseph, allegedly brandished a licensed firearm and made death threats, while Ricardo and Renando Baptiste allegedly threatened and intimidated the victim. Relatives of the accused stopped the confrontation. All three men were jointly charged with home invasion and malicious damage and appeared before Master De Silva in the San Fernando AJIPA Court.
