Home invasion in PalmisteFamily robbed, beaten

Caparo Valley Brasso Road / Thomson Road, near WASA Pump Well #10, Phillipine , San Fernando

A family in Palmiste was targeted in a violent home invasion in the early hours of Thursday, February 5, 2026, around 3:15 a.m. Police reports indicate the victims were preparing for work when armed men dressed in dark clothing forcibly entered the home from the front door, carrying cutlasses and firearms. The suspects tied up the occupants and ransacked the house while demanding cash. They stole an undisclosed sum of money and a black Toyota Altis before fleeing north along Caparo Valley Brasso Road. The victims sustained minor injuries during the ordeal. Police later recovered the stolen vehicle abandoned along Thomson Road, Palmiste, near WASA Pump Well #10. The victims received treatment from paramedics at the scene.
