Robbery suspects nabbed after high-speed chase in south; one still on the run

Palmiste area, Phillipine , San Fernando

A robbery incident in South Trinidad on Tuesday, March 24th, 2026 triggered a high-speed police pursuit through the Palmiste area. Officers pursued a vehicle believed to be linked to the robbery before suspects abandoned the car near a park and fled on foot. Several men were apprehended in the Philippines district during coordinated police exercises. At least one suspect remains at large, with ongoing searches in surrounding communities. Investigations into the robbery are ongoing.
