DebeGold Chain & Band Worth $50,500 Snatched from Vendor (May 5)

M2 Ring Road / Debe district, La Fortune , Penal - Debe

A male vendor in the Debe district was robbed of a gold chain valued at $45,000 and a gold hand band worth $5,500 around 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 5th. A man approached the vendor and snatched both items before fleeing in a white Toyota Fielder Wagon driven by a woman. Officers of the Debe Highway Patrol intercepted the vehicle a short distance away along the M2 Ring Road and detained both occupants: a 28-year-old woman of La Romain and a 31-year-old man of Carenage.
