La RomainRifle with Loaded Magazine Seized, Two Arrested in SD Operation

La Romain district, La Fortune , Penal - Debe

Officers from the Southern Division conducted anti-crime exercises in the La Romain district overnight on May 26, 2026. A 38-year-old man and a 31-year-old woman of La Romain were arrested for possession of a rifle loaded with a magazine containing ten rounds of ammunition. The seizure of the loaded firearm and ammunition was completed during the overnight operation. Both suspects remain in custody pending further investigation.
