Woman sexually assaulted and beaten by ex-boyfriend (33)

Ex-boyfriend's home, Mayaro, Mayaro - Rio Claro

A 33-year-old woman was allegedly raped, buggered, and beaten by her ex-boyfriend at his home in Mayaro on June 6th, 2025. During an escalated conversation, the man allegedly forced her to have sexual intercourse against her will, committed an act of buggery, and beat her with a cable wire, causing visible injuries. The victim reported the incident to Mayaro Police Station, and an immediate investigation was launched under the supervision of Sgt Mohammed with involvement from WPC Francis, PC Meighoo, and other officers from the Mayaro CID. That same night, the victim was taken to Sangre Grande Hospital where she was medically examined by the District Medical Officer. A medical certificate confirmed she had been sexually and physically assaulted, corroborating her account of the violent assault.
