Machine operator robbed at gunpoint during work shift (21-year-old)

Side Bar, Southern Main Road, Claxton Bay, Couva - Tabaquite - Talparo

A 21-year-old machine operator from Union Village, Claxton Bay, was conducting sales at Side Bar around 11:33 AM on Thursday, June 12, 2025, when an armed man entered the establishment and announced a robbery. The suspect proceeded to the cash register and took $21,000 TT in roulette sales proceeds, along with the victim's gold chain valued at $5,000 TT, for a total loss of $26,000 TT. The armed robber then fled the scene, running north along the Southern Main Road. Police investigation into the incident is ongoing.
