Jevon Stewart, 37, of Pecan Crescent, Cashew Gardens, was reported missing after he was last seen around 9:00 p.m. on May 4, 2026, at his home. On May 13, 2026, at approximately 11:15 a.m., first responders from the Longdenville Police Post received a report from a resident who discovered a partially decomposed body in a ravine off Palmiste Gravel Road, Caparo Valley Brasso Road, Longdenville, approximately 1.5 kilometres along a gravel track. The body was found on its back with the feet bound, wearing a dark-coloured jersey and red three-quarter pants, consistent with the missing person's description. A District Medical Officer viewed the body, made a pronouncement, and ordered its removal pending an autopsy. Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death; the body's condition and bound feet indicate foul play.
