Three armed bandits invaded a residence at Bank Village, Carapichaima around 2:15 AM on Monday, April 27, 2026, stealing $140,000 in Trinidad and Tobago dollars and $12,000 in US currency. The victims were asleep when they were awakened by the intruders, who then fled the scene in a silver wagon. Police are investigating the incident.
