A 57-year-old man was attacked and robbed of a gold Spanish Link chain valued at $3,000 while eating doubles at Sam's Plaza on Aranguez Main Road on Friday, May 15, 2026 at approximately 8:25 a.m. Two unidentified men approached the victim and attempted to snatch the chain from around his neck, leading to a physical struggle during which the victim fell to the ground. The victim, fearing for his safety, eventually released the chain as the suspects grabbed it and fled the scene on foot. Police report the men ran south along Aranguez Main Road, turned onto Rambhaju Street West, and escaped in a silver Hyundai Elantra bearing registration number PDD 8741. No arrests have been made.
