Canaan21-Year-Old Robbed of $840 Cash, Phone & Cards at Gunpoint

Main Road, Canaan, Bon Accord, Tobago

A 21-year-old man from Milford, Tobago was robbed on the main road at Canaan, Bon Accord on Tuesday, May 19, 2026 shortly before 1:00 PM. Two men of African descent confronted the victim while he was walking, with one assailant pointing a firearm at him. The robbers took $840 in cash, a Samsung cellphone, an FCB card, and a TT ID card from the victim. Police are investigating the armed robbery; no arrests have been reported.
