Sangre Grande23-Year-Old Held with 84 Grams of Marijuana

Valencia Old Rd, Junction on the Toco Rd, Sangre Grande

A 23-year-old man from Vega De Oropouche was held near the Valencia Old Rd junction on the Toco Rd, Sangre Grande during a police operation on Tuesday, May 19, 2026. Officers recovered 84 grams of marijuana from the suspect during the operation. The seizure was part of a coordinated exercise by Sergeants Maharaj and Rampersad of the C.I.D and EDTF respectively. The suspect was detained in connection with the drug seizure; further details regarding charges are pending.
