BaratariaOne Beretta Pistol, Ammunition Seized; Three Morvant Men Arrested

Barataria district, San Juan, San Juan - Laventille

Three male suspects, ages 23 to 26, all of Morvant, were arrested in the Barataria district on Wednesday, May 20, 2026 during an anti-crime exercise conducted by the North Eastern Division between 11 am and 4 pm. Officers recovered one Beretta pistol and one magazine containing 15 rounds of ammunition from the suspects. The seizure was part of an intelligence-led operation targeting criminal activity in the area. Investigations are ongoing into the matter.
