Sales Clerk Sexually Assaulted in Longdenville After Accepting Ride From Known Male

Maraj Street, Longdenville, Montrose, Chaguanas

A 24-year-old sales clerk was allegedly raped by a man known to her after accepting a ride while awaiting transportation in Longdenville on Sunday evening. Instead of taking the victim to her destination, the suspect drove her to his residence where the assault occurred before later leaving her at a local bar. Police have identified a suspect by name and investigations are currently being conducted by the Child Protection Unit.
