A 38-year-old Elections and Boundaries Commission clerk was robbed of her $5,000 gold-coloured bracelet at a car park along Eastern Main Road, San Juan on Wednesday morning around 9 a.m. The victim was accosted by a man who struggled with her and forcibly took the bracelet, sustaining minor injuries to her right hand during the confrontation. The suspect fled south onto the Priority Bus Route, then onto 5th Street, Barataria where he entered a silver-coloured Hyundai Elantra and escaped. The victim was taken to San Juan Health Centre for medical attention and a medical report was obtained.
