El SocorroPolice Seize Black Glock Pistol Hidden in Garbage

Oudan Road, El Socorro, San Juan, San Juan - Laventille

Officers of the DCP Operations Unit discovered one black Glock pistol hidden in a pile of garbage on Oudan Road, El Socorro during an anti-crime exercise conducted between 8:00 p.m. on May 27th and 1:00 a.m. on May 28th, 2026. The firearm was located following information received regarding unidentified individuals allegedly stashing illegal firearms and ammunition at a recreational facility in the area. The pistol was made safe and conveyed to the San Juan Police Station for processing. The Port of Spain and North Eastern Divisions conducted the operation as part of ongoing anti-crime exercises.
