Two men were arrested by San Fernando Police following a report of cable larceny in the Cross Crossing district near Unipet Gas Station on Tuesday, June 16, 2026 at approximately 5:00 a.m. Officers observed four men in dark clothing handling several lengths of cable; two fled on foot while another ran to a silver Nissan AD Wagon, which was immediately approached and the driver detained. A search of the vehicle revealed a bolt cutter and hacksaw, which were seized by officers along with the cables. The suspects were identified as a 27-year-old man of Orchid Gardens, Pleasantville, and a 51-year-old man of Cedar Hill, Princes Town. Both were arrested and conveyed to San Fernando Police Station with the vehicle and seized implements.
