St. Augustine2.75kg Cannabis Seized in Intelligence-Led Operation

St. Augustine district (mini-mart on compound), St Augustine, Tunapuna - Piarco

Officers conducted an intelligence-led operation in the St. Augustine district on Sunday, June 14, 2026, between 10 am and 5 pm, during which they searched a 33-year-old male suspect's home. During the search, 2.75 kilogrammes of cannabis was discovered hidden in a mini-mart on the compound. One male suspect was arrested in connection with the seizure. The operation was monitored by Senior Superintendent Bhagwandeen and Superintendent Glodon, coordinated by ASP Hernandez, and included personnel from the Central Operations Unit, Central Division Task Force, Area North, Canine Branch, and Special Investigations Unit.
