Three men he knew awakened him and attacked him with a cutlass, striking him about the head and body, then questioned him about a gas tank and spear gun. The assailants removed a 50-inch Samsung television valued at $6,000 from his home, threw it to the ground, and forced him into a white wagon, continuing the assault as they drove away. The suspects later dropped him off on Pigeon Point Road and fled the scene. Police officers responding to a distress call transported the victim to Scarborough General Hospital, where he was treated and discharged. Investigations are ongoing; no arrests have been made.
