Officers from the Port of Spain Division seized approximately 1.56 kilogrammes of cannabis with an estimated street value of TT$45,000 during an intelligence-led Operation R.E.S.O.L.U.T.E. Shield on Friday, July 3, 2026. A man from Febeau Village, San Juan was arrested after the discovery along Observatory Street between 3:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. The suspect was charged with Possession of Cannabis for the Purpose of Trafficking. The operation was spearheaded by Senior Superintendent Thom, Superintendent Baird, Superintendent Ramdeen, Assistant Superintendent Cadette and Inspector Durga, and supervised by Sergeants Guerra and Sookhoo.
