A 34-year-old security guard was assaulted by five masked gunmen in the yard of his residence at Maingot Trace, Calcutta #2, Freeport on Saturday, July 11, 2026. The gunmen accosted the guard and repeatedly beat him during the attack. The attackers did not steal any property but repeatedly inquired about the whereabouts of the homeowner. Police are investigating the assault; no arrests have been made at this time.
