FreeportWoman Sexually Assaulted by Brother During Late-Night Attack (33)

Freeport home (residential), Freeport, Couva - Tabaquite - Talparo

A 33-year-old woman reported to Freeport Police that she was sexually assaulted by her 31-year-old brother at their Freeport home on Sunday, May 24, 2026, shortly before midnight. The victim stated she awoke to find a man on top of her while she was asleep in her bedroom and recognized the attacker as her own brother. According to her account, the suspect restrained her, demanded sex, removed her clothing, and forcibly assaulted her before leaving the room. Officers assigned to the Freeport Police Station are conducting ongoing investigations into the incident; no arrests have been reported.
