An NLCB Lotto booth located on the HI-Way Heaven Bar compound was broken into and an unknown amount of cash along with scratch-off lottery tickets were stolen. The operator had secured the business around 5:45 p.m. on May 16, 2026, by locking all doors before leaving. When the operator returned at approximately 8:30 a.m. on May 18, the booth was discovered broken into with cash and scratch-off tickets of undetermined value missing. Investigations indicate entry was gained after suspects cut burglar-proofing on the southern side of the compound fencing, with exit made through the same point. Police are continuing inquiries into the incident; no arrests have been made.
