Two men of African descent stole a 5-tonne air conditioning unit from The Shipping Association of T & T on Scott Bushe Street, Port of Spain around 12:00 AM on Wednesday, July 8, 2026. According to sources, one man jumped over the wall of the premises and removed the AC unit, then threw it over the wall to a waiting accomplice. The two men then took possession of the unit and escaped the location with it. Police have not yet made any arrests in connection with the theft; investigations are ongoing.
