A 39-year-old Chinese businessman was robbed and assaulted at the Pyramid Bar on Centenary Street, Tunapuna on Thursday, July 9, 2026, shortly before 10 a.m. Three masked men, two armed with firearms, arrived in a white Nissan AD Wagon and announced a robbery. During the ordeal, the victim was struck on the head by the assailants. The bandits stole an iPhone 14 and the keys to the business; the total value of stolen items is still being determined. The suspects fled the scene in the waiting vehicle and police investigations are ongoing.
