An 81-year-old Curepe man's property on Ghandi Trace, St Helena was targeted by several men who were allegedly removing truck parts and equipment on Wednesday, July 15, 2026 at approximately 3:11 p.m. The elderly man received information that men were loading items from his property onto a truck and immediately contacted the Las Lomas Police Post. Officers responded and located a man in a white Mazda three-ton truck with the reported stolen items in the tray. The suspect, identified as 50-year-old Vinod Ramdath of Piarco Road, Redhill, D'Abadie, was arrested at the scene. Investigations are continuing.
