Dennis Archagee, 62, an elderly Siparia resident living alone on Quarry Road, was killed and his body discovered face down in an outhouse pit on Friday, July 18, 2026. Neighbours reported that Archagee was last seen on Tuesday, July 15, and his house was found ransacked with a gas tank, generator, brush cutter, and his Nissan B14 car missing from the premises. A relative visited the home around 10 a.m. on Friday after becoming concerned, found the front door padlocked, and discovered the house in disarray before alerting police. Officers responding to the scene conducted a search of the surrounding property and discovered Archagee's body in the outhouse during their investigation. The district medical officer attended the scene and ordered the body removed for a post-mortem examination at the Forensic Science Centre in Federation Park to determine the cause of death. Archagee's vehicle was later found abandoned at Skinner Trace, Quarry Village.
