A 39-year-old bartender was robbed at a bar located at the corner of Coora Road and Mary Street, Siparia, shortly before 2 a.m. on Thursday, June 11, 2026, as she was preparing to close the establishment. Four masked men dressed in dark clothing entered the business and announced a robbery; one suspect was armed with what appeared to be a firearm. The suspects demanded cash, alcohol, and cigarettes, causing the employee to fear for her life. The robbers escaped with approximately $1,800 in cash, several bottles of premium liquor including Hennessy Cognac, Absolut Vodka, Jose Cuervo Tequila, and White Oak Rum, and a quantity of cigarettes. The suspects fled on foot along Coora Road and disappeared before police arrived. Officers of the Siparia Criminal Investigations Department responded and conducted extensive searches in the area, but no arrests were made.
